More Birthday

Grandma Joy painted faces, made bee balloons, did magic, and danced!  She was seriously such a wonderful present to Naomi.  It was a great party.  Thank you grandma Joy!  You are the best grandma and clown and person we know!  LOVE YOU!

Catching up

I added some pictures of what has been going on the past month.  The kids and me at the Vet. Day parade, Thanksgiving day Iindian Headdresses.  We had a nice dinner with Fred and his family.  Then, it was my birthday.  And, we had our first of many more to come Missionary Mondays.  Uncle Ben talked about his experiences in Hong Kong, teaching the kids a little language, culture, and singing.  It was a lot of fun.  Then, yes we went sledding in Sunny AZ, there is a farm that ships in snow!  It was 80 degrees and the kids got to play in the snow, how does it get any better?  Then, my little darling turned 3.  Joy Clown was the life of the party, literalliy.  Her magic was mezmerizing as was her dancing!  Naomi was queen for a day waking to eggnog pancakes, pictures at Mall with Grandma Joy and a special party.  Later in the evening, we went to pick up a pizza and she fell asleep on the counter as I was paying, so she was partied out!  It was a great last month.

So, here is the kids saluting all of you who have served our country.  Joshua had the honor guard come to his school yesterday and do a gun show.  He loved it!  Today, we are going to a parade, and he asked me if he could stop one of the army guys and tell him thank you for fighting for our country and keeping us free.  I started to cry.  Silly I guess, but not really.  I love this country and I thank those who have served. 

LOVE YOU MEN WHO HAVE GIVEN SO MUCH FOR US!  GOD BLESSED AMERICA!

Grandma Joy

So my mom was once a Professional Clown as many of you do not know....and she has been ressurected. Yes, it is true. I was so proud of her performing at the Walk N Roll for Spina Bifida, I wanted to share a couple of pictures from that day, Oct 30th. Thankyou to all of you who showed your support, including you Joy Clown!

Catching up

We went to Boise, Idaho for Fall break.  We were there for a week.  The kids and I went with mom.  We did horseback rides, cornmaze, movies, homeade bread, playing, and staying up way way way too late every single night.  We had a great vacation.  I have to admit that I like Boise.  It was nice to spend time with my Aunt Pam and cousin Dawn and her four kids.  There were so many pictures to choose from, so I made a slide show. 

The toothfairy???

What in the world is happening, my baby is losing his teeth.  I know that pretty soon I will be saying, my baby is graduating, but still what is going on???  On Friday, I went to Joshua's school with him, and midway through class he looks at me in terror.  Mom, something is wrong with my tooth...sure enough it was loose.  I explained that it was normal and then told him about the process.  For the next 24 hours, he vigorously worked at wiggling his tooth, and last night right before bed, it came out!  I think it is a world record for a tooth getting loose to losing it.  So, he went to bed anticipating big bucks since his dad told him a story about how once the toothfairy brough him $20!!!!!  What???  So the toothfairy did indeed come and only left $2 as is appropriate :)  So, good times.

3 weeks gone

Well, Somehow weeks have passed since our last post, and not much really has happened.  What we have been doing is finding our ancestors, E'lans to be exact.  These are pictures of his great grandparents.  Eduard Sunderman is from Poland and immigrated to Mexico, and Aurelia Castillo has records in Mexico, not sure if she was a transplant too.  We were able to go to Kearny AZ, and see the other great grandparents mining town.  These, are all E'lan's mothers grandparents.  I think you can see E'lan in the man, he has the same arched nose.  It has been quite a journey learning about all that was done to come here, to America.  His ancestors all brought here...  We were able to do the work for them in the temple, and it was a special day for all of us!  Jesus Christ truly is the light of our life and God is great and makes all things possible and right when all is said and done.  So, Thank you to our ancestors for paying the price, forging the way, and sacrificing.
